Emral Gardens Caravan Park Seasonal Pitch Rules

(approx size of pitch, width 6 metres (20 ft) x length 9 metres (30 ft)

1.No persons under the age of 18 years allowed on the park at any time.

  1. 2.No more than 2 dogs per seasonal pitch. Only quiet, well behaved and non aggressive dogs allowed.

  2. 3.Dogs must be kept on a lead and tethered at all times on the park. If your dog fouls it must be cleaned up and disposed of, especially in the dog walk field.

  3. 4.Dogs are allowed off their leads in the dog walk field.

3.The speed limit on the park is 5mph and the drive 10mph. Many types of fowl roam free here. It is also a working farm. Please respect this.

4.Quiet hours are from 11.00pm until 7.00am. Please respect your fellow guests and keep noise to an absolute minimum. Awnings are not soundproof.

5.Caravans must be fully insured by the caravan owner, and the proprietors accept no responsibility for any loss or damage to the caravan/awning/contents, and are left at the owners risk.

6.Subletting to any other party or parties is expressly forbidden.

7.Maximum of 4 persons per pitch.

8.The visual aspect of a seasonal pitch should be the same as any other tourer on site and kept as neat, clean and tidy as possible at all times.

  1. 9.No solar lights, flower pots or garden ornaments allowed around your caravan.

10.Awning/caravan sizes:       Max. width of awning is 8ft (2.4 metres)

                                           Max length of a caravan is 24ft (7.3 metres internal)

                                           Max width of caravan is 7ft 6ins (2.3.metres external)

11.Awnings must be erected and pegged down securely with storm straps on the hard standing area only and NOT on the grass.

  1. 12.Large full awnings must be removed and safely stored within the caravan by 1st October.

13.The grass area between pitches must be kept clear when grass cutting is in progress.

14.Only one vehicle per pitch.

15.No commercial vehicles allowed on the park.

16.BBQ’s must be raised off the ground/grass and disposed of away from the premises.

17.Owners must ensure that there are no bricks/stones/pegs or other such obstacles around their caravan at all times, as any damage to grass cutting machines will be charged to the owner of the respective caravan where the incident occurred.

18.Electric cables, TV aerial cables and water hoses must be unplugged and either placed inside or safely underneath the caravan whilst unoccupied.

19.No TV aerials or satellite dishes allowed. Please use the aerial hook up point on your pitch provided.

20.Audible caravan burglar alarms must not be activated when left unoccupied during the season.

21.Electric will be calculated and billed during and at the end of the season.

22.The charges for a seasonal pitch are payable in full at the times indicated and there will be no reduction if the owner of the caravan vacates the pitch prior to the end of the season.

23.Large items should be taken to Civic Amenity Sites.

  1. 24.No fats or oils to be disposed of down the grey waste disposal points.

  2. 25.No wet wipes to be flushed down the toilets and CDP point.

25.Any pitch holder who has failed to satisfy the rules of the park by the end of the season will not be considered again for such a pitch.

26.The proprietors reserve the right to remove any person (or property) who in their opinion is not suitable to use the site, or whose behaviour is considered to be detrimental to the interest of other guests.

  1. 27.A current copy of the park rules will be issued to every owner of a seasonal pitch once a year and payment of Seasonal Pitch charges constitutes acceptance of these rules.

  2. 28.Caravans must be removed from the pitch by 14th January and pitches may not be occupied until 1st March.

  3. 29.Cancelling your pitch. If you cancel your pitch more than 14 days notice before the start of the season, we will refund the fees you have paid. If you cancel your pitch giving less than 14 days notice before the start of the season or once the season is underway, a full refund cannot be given.
